Just a few weeks ago we got the technology to create any image from text. Today we get the same thing but for video. I knew this would be coming, but I didn't expect progress to be this fast. This is super scary exponential stuff.
- in November it will be 10x better quality
- in December it will have fully consistent audio and speech
- in January it will create whole 90 minutes movies with a consistent story, better than anything out of Hollywood
- in February all actors, directors, screenwriters, pop stars, vfx artists, graphic designers, writers, porn stars, video game designers, authors, and a 1000 other professions will all be out of work and unemployable
- in March the whole economy will completely collapse
- in April we will be driving through a desert landscape in Mad Max style vehicles fighting over the last food and gasoline
